In the name of Allah (God), the Beneficent, the Merciful.

All Praise is due to Allah (God), Lord of the worlds, the Beneficent, the Merciful, Owner of the Day of Judgement.

Thee alone we worship and Thee alone we ask for help.

Show us the straight path, the path of those whom Thou hast favoured, not (the path of) those who earn Thine anger nor (of) those who go astray. (Amen)
The Holy Qur'an (The Opening Chapter, Al-Fatihah, Surah 1)

Assalamu Alaikum and Welcome to the Islamic Society of Central Queensland Inc (ISCQ) website.

We are grateful to almighty Allah (s.w.t.) for the launch of our website and pray that this will be a means of easy access to Masjid information, such as prayer times, forthcoming events, Masjid services and more.

Our vision is to provide a range of holistic, culturally sensitive services for the communities of Rockhampton, drawing on our Islamic values and heritage, with a view to improving quality of life and enhancing community cohesion.

Insh'Allah our intention is to provide a useful, vibrant and informative website that will educate, enlighten and invigor the people of Rockhampton with a passion for Islam, the Quran and inspire this multicultural city.

Mash'Allah we have been blessed with a beautiful masjid building in the city for education. We will use this atmosphere of learning and study to educate our community.

Alhamdulillah this site will be regularly updated with information about upcoming events and special days such as Eid. You can check the latest prayer timetables, find out ways to donate. Further information about classes and education will be added.

We’re always striving to improve the website as well as improve and increase the services the masjid offers – if you have any feedback or suggestions please email us on

Donate to the continuing Masjid project. Please assist us in carrying on this project with your generous contributions.

Rockhampton Regional Council also introduced us on their site!

ISCQ is a registered community based organisation providing social and cultural services to Muslims of Central Queensland. All ISCQ affairs are managed by an Executive Committee. All Executive Committee members are volunteers.

ISCQ works closely with various stakeholders to promote love, peace, compassion and interfaith harmony among CQ communities.

ISCQ arranges for community events on a regular basis eg Mosque open days, cricket matches, food festivals, Iftar (share a meal) parties, special lectures, kids' festivals and kids' schools. These events are open to the general public and mostly no prior invitation is required.
