Harmony cricket game with QPS


The Harmony Cricket Game was an event organized by the coming together of a number of organisations in Central QLD region; namely Islamic Society of Central Queensland (ISCQ), Queensland Police Service (QPS), Anti-Discrimination Commission QLD (ADC), Multi-cultural Development Association (MDA), Rockhampton Regional Council (RRC) and the Rocky United (local Sports Club).

The event intended to promote harmony between different cultures. It aimed to build on the principals of inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone, and embracing cultural diversity whilst sharing what people have in common.

Who the program or activity benefits:

People of all faiths, cultural and ethnic background and gender, No restrictions on age either.


The eligibility requirements to participate:

The free event was open to everyone and promoted through social media and local newspaper.
